COASTAL ROWING
Coastal rowing is a sport that combines strength, endurance, and technique. The beauty of nature and the connection with the water element is something unique that all rowers experience daily.
All in all, rowing represents the ultimate encounter of human strength with the vast serenity and the endless challenge of the sea. It is an athletic activity that connects humans with their natural environment, offering a unique opportunity for self-awareness, adventure, and self-improvement.
Coastal rowing will be included in the Olympic Games in 2028 for the first time. There are three different types of boats: the single scull (C1x), the double scull (C2x), and the quadruple scull (C4x).
Rowers develop a bond of solidarity and cooperation that transcends individual limits. Each team member contributes to achieving a common goal, enhancing the sense of community and good sportsmanship. It is a sport that bonds people with the environment, while providing a unique opportunity for extensive fitness.
